West Coast Christmas Championships Media Alert

The 3RD Annual “West Coast Christmas Championships” will be kicked off Friday December 18th at Concordia College in Portland, Oregon, with four power packed elite high school match ups, featuring some of the best talent on the West Coast. The action heats up first with Federal Way Eagles (WA.) (2009 Washington 4A State Champs) vs. Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (CA.) (2009 #3 in Southern California) at 6pm followed by Jefferson Democrats (OR.) (2008 & 2009 Oregon 5A State Champs) vs. Castlemont Knights (CA.) (2009 #4 in Northern California) at 8pm.

The Elite High School action continues Saturday December 19th, 2009 at Concordia College with Federal Way vs Castlemont at 6pm and Jefferson vs Long Beach Poly at 8pm.

Sticking to tradition, the “West Coast Christmas Championships” was founded on providing many of the top elite boy’s youth teams (9U-14U) in the region a stage to ignite the 2009/ 2010 season. This year we will have 96 elite youth teams from Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho. ALL ELITE YOUTH games will tip off @ 9AM Saturday December 19th, 2009 and will be played at state of the art basketball facilities Beaverton Hoop YMCA (WCXC Headquarters), Lewis & Clark College and Warner Pacific College. All bracket play for the elite youth divisions will conclude on Sunday December 20th, 2009 no later than 6pm.

Tickets are ONLY available at the door with daily admission prices
$7.00 adults/ $5.00 students w/ ID.

Proceeds for this year’s event will benefit Inner City Players and Grant High Athletics.
