2005 adidas Rose City Showcase field announced

The #1 Spring basketball event in the country, has selected its 8 team field for the 3-day showcase June 10 - June 12 in Portland, OR. This has been considered the most talented group of teams and players EVER assembled in the WEST. Participating programs include event host, Inner City Players (ICP Portland) and welcoming back 2004 SHOWCASE champions, the Portland Legends. Rounding out the field will include national powers Portland Panthers, Seattle Rotary Select, EBO/ EA Sports (Fresno, CA.), DC Assault (Washington, DC), Playaz Basketball Club (New Jersey), and Indy Spiece Heat (Indianapolis, IN.).


" I would have to consider our 2005 field, the most talented group of basketball players ever assembled in this area........NBA included", exclaims Showcase founder, Canaan Chatman. "The game is really evolving, and the kids are doing things naturally at the age of 14 and 15, that I couldnt do at 25. The scary thing is, they will keep getting better."
